About Us

After more than 10 years working as the ticket agency for Violette Express and other private train companies. Mr. Thanh and Mr Hieu (WhatsApp +84868060269, Email: mrhieu@lotustrain.vn) had come to a decision to run our own train service named Lotus Train Express in July 2019. The operations had been paused due to COVID19 and resumed in March 2023.

What we do is to rent some carriages from the VNR corporation, we then renovated and replaced most of the facilities with our own stuff to offer much better services. These carriages are attached to the regular VNR trains SE19/20.

Our ticket price is higher than the regular VNR ticket because we provide more comfortable cabins with free Wi-Fi, clean bed sheets, covers and blankets, clean bathroom/toilets, big and comfortable mattress, light breakfast included, complimentary welcome snacks and drinks with beer, coke, coffee, and power socket to each bed. Cockroaches are hardly found in our cabins because we handle this issue seriously daily.

Using our service will prevent you from terrible experiences like dirty toilets, cockroaches, dirty cabins, unchanged/used bed covers and staying disconnected in case you do not have a data sim card. Moreover, your privacy is secured if you book a private cabin, no one will come into your cabin, unlike the regular state owned service.

Please come to the train station at least 30 minutes before departure time, there will be some announcements about the train you are going to take with the track number.

Cancellation policy:

∙ Any cancellation or modifications must be made by email or WhatsApp. Modifications could be made upon availability.

∙ Cancellation made 30 days prior departure date will be free of charge.

∙ Cancellation made 20 to 30 days prior departure date will be charged 20% of the booking

∙ Cancellation made 10 to 20 days prior departure date will be charged 30% of the booking

∙ Cancellation made 5 to 10 days prior departure date will be charged 50% of the booking

∙ No-Show or Cancellation made less than 5 days prior departure date will be charged 100% of the booking
